THE WORK
Every custom piece starts with a conversation: what it means to you, where it goes, how big, and which references you love. From there I draw a design built for your body — not a stock image resized to fit.
Because I work across fine line, black and gray realism, color, illustrative, script and traditional, the design can go wherever the idea needs — or mix styles in one piece.
How it works: send your idea through the booking form; we agree on size, placement and a date, with a deposit to hold your spot; final adjustments happen together before the stencil goes on.
QUESTIONS
Yes — references are a great starting point. I’ll draw an original design inspired by what you like about them, rather than copying another artist’s tattoo.
Any of the styles I work in — fine line, black and gray realism, micro realism, color, illustrative, script, traditional, anime or abstract — or a mix of them.
I work at The Venice Canvas, 1515 Abbot Kinney Blvd #300, Venice, CA 90291 — a short drive from Santa Monica, Marina del Rey, Culver City and Mar Vista. Open Tuesday–Sunday, 11 AM–8 PM (closed Mondays). It’s by appointment, so please email ink@cihanpohrenk.com before stopping by.
