FINE LINE · VENICE, LOS ANGELES
Delicate line work — florals, script, butterflies, celestial pieces and small detailed designs — tattooed at The Venice Canvas on Abbot Kinney Blvd.

THE WORK
Fine line tattoos live or die on precision. Every line is planned around your placement and the way skin moves there, so the design stays crisp instead of blurring together as it ages.
I work fine line at every scale — from a tiny wrist symbol or a matching date to a full forearm botanical or a sacred geometry piece. Most designs are drawn custom from your idea and references, then adjusted on the body before the first line goes in.
Popular fine line requests: florals and cherry blossoms, butterflies, celestial and constellation pieces, script and dates, sacred geometry and single-line art.
QUESTIONS
Fine lines carry less ink than bold work, so placement and aftercare matter more. Areas with less friction and sun, like the inner forearm or upper arm, tend to age best. Careful aftercare and daily sunscreen make a real difference.
Small pieces are usually quick; larger forearm, thigh or back pieces can take a few hours. You’ll get an estimate once I see your idea, size and placement.
